Caroline Fischer Siegfried was born and raised in the Midwest. She studied painting and drawing at the University of Wisconsin, Madison. In search of wide open spaces, she settled in New Mexico in 1997. Though her primary focus is painting on canvas, she also paints furniture and murals in public and private spaces. On occasion she teaches children's art classes and workshops. She lives in Albuquerque's North Valley with her husband, daughter and dog.
